Micro-Imaging Solutions was granted two new patents in 2015 and one new patent in 2017 by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) further cementing our CMOS intellectual property strength.

The Company owns +40 issued U.S. and foreign patents that relate to MIS’s CMOS micro-imaging technology. One pending CIP application will enable the company and its partners to expand upon the patent estate with new device applications. The company has patented the core technology and has additionally patented the use of this technology in several key areas including medical/surgical products, handheld computers and cellular phones, tablets, automobiles and recreational cameras.

Our current patent coverage is anticipated to provide market exclusivity until November of 2019 in the USA and until June 2021 in Europe. New product introductions could provide additional extensions beyond 2019.
